To this, I'm fairly certain.  Only on certain laptops can you bring it higher
than 8x6.  On the Toshiba Satellite series(and Pro), max resolution is 8x6.  I
have heard on the Tecras(due to its increased display size), it can be bumped
higher.  So, the answer to your question is a definitive maybe.  Depends on
what kind you have.
