[ale] Apache with/without DSO

I just setup a new server. I started with RedHat 7.1, but removed anything
related to web and email. Using ApacheToolKit I installed the typical
apache,mysql type setup. All is well. I just noticed tho, comparing this
to another stock RedHat box, that the stock box uses DSO modules and this
one using ApacheToolKit does not. Yes, I see the option to turn it on, but
my question is: "Why should or shouldn't I do one or the other?"
