[ale] Sendmail error

One of the newer versions of sendmail (v8.1.x) from a Slackware distro
came in with a configuration file that rejects emails from unrecognized
domains.  The result is as follows from the log file:

Jul 10 09:30:10 server1 sendmail[16087]: f6ADU9R16087: ruleset=check_mail,
arg1=<xxxxxxx at this.domain.does.not.work>, relay=krugerb at localhost
[127.0.0.1], reject=501 5.1.8 <xxxxxxx at this.domain.does.not.work...
Domain of sender address xxxxxxx at this.domain.does.not.work  does not
exist

Any ideas as to how to turn this feature off in the Sendmail.cf?
