[ale] Computer integrated thermometer

A little box that has worked flawlessly for years is a product named the
"Hot Little Therm" http://www.spiderplant.com/hlt/ that accepts multiple
probes and uses a simple RS-232 interface.  Nope - have nothing to do with
the company - just a happy user of their product.  I assume they're still
selling the products...
