[ale] BellSouth ADSL + Home Network

Hoping to get some help getting started.

I have bellsouth adsl on a win2k box. I also got a laptop from work on which
I installed linux. I'm clueless when it comes to networking so I hope you
guys can help me out. How do I set up a home network? All the stuff I've
seen on the web is setting it up with linux or WinME as a server.
