[ale] Semi random lock ups

My girlfriends monitor went bad, and until we have time to get it fixed
(only 3 months old!) she has been using my computer, and it has been locking
up on her almost every time she uses it (mostly just using netscape). But it
never locks up on me. Does anyone know of a way I could trace this? There is
nothing in the logs, and I cant ssh in after it hangs to shut it down
properly.
