[ale] no space on remote; waiting for queue to drain

I have a small printing problem I can not locate.

I have an HP4 located on /dev/lp0 on Calder 2.2
am doing remote printing on RH5.2 and HP-UX 11.

On both machines I'm getting error message:

no space on remote; waiting for queue to drain  

I've looked at the caldera box but can not seem to find the 
problem.

Anyone have this and fixed it?
